4 ldentification and delivery
4.1 Road or rail tank wagons and drums used for the delivery of oil shall be specially cleaned for
this purpose.
4.2 0il drums and containers shipped by the oil supplier shall carry at least the fllwing markings:
a) the supplier's designation;
b) the type of oil: whether inhibited 0, trace inhibited (T or uninhibited (U); and
c) the number and date of this British Standard, i.e. BS 148.9
4.3 Each oil delivery shall be covered by a document from the supplier decdaring at least the fllowing:
a) the suppler's designation;
b) the function and chemical family of all additives present and their concentrations.
